professoriswatching.org believes that education is sacred, political, and revolutionary.
Employing a network of students stateside and beyond, professoriswatching.org is an online, open-source, experimental forum for exchange that functions as a resource of support for students, educators, artists, and community activists working against white supremacist, conservative groups in their everyday life.
The mission of professoriswatching.org is to further document the stories of people who have been victims of policing and discrimination due to their views and actions against the advancement of conservative, right-wing ideology. professoriswatching.org is committed to interrogating and documenting the effects of right-wing claims to “free speech,” which masks the advancement of violent, bigotry-laden treatment of others.
The inaugural site began accepting submissions as part of the opening exhibition of The Dangerous Professors at Triumph Gallery in Chicago, Il. Current educators—especially those who have been identified as "dangerous" on the site hosted by Turning Point USA—are invited to participate here, to share their views, and to document their stories. Students, educators, artists or anyone working inside of education are encouraged to submit their stories.
